Many of our students have limited access to new \"fun\" items outside school, so handing them the bright journals, the fidget sensory toys, snack samplers, and jump-ropes felt like a genuine treat. Some children said, \"Wow—I can pick something just because I behaved well?\" Others picked their items and immediately said, \"I'm going to earn more bucks so I can get this next time.\" That enthusiasm is exactly what we hoped for.\r\nIt's not just about the reward—it's about recognizing their efforts, decisions, and growth.
