Every grade level had several participants, totaling over 70 students with over 60 projects! \r\n\r\nStudents were engaged in science and exploration. Many learned the scientific method for the first time. Primary students were thinking like scientists as well! \r\n\r\nWe had an amazing turnout at our Science Fair and STEAM Night. Students, including all who did not enter a project, loved seeing and learning about the various project topics displayed. Family members and staff were also blown away by the incredible displays. Once they were able to see what was in the boxes, their love began. The talking microscopes allow them to see and hear about new things. Students take home two decodable texts each week (at their level) and get to read them at home with their families. They also read them during our reader's workshop time at school. During this time, they get to cozy up with a partner using flexible seating and read.
