As a second year teacher it was rough to buy the books I wanted for my students. I learned quickly I had students of all different reading levels, not only 4th or 5th grade reading levels. I wanted to make sure I had a wide range of books that all of my students will feel comfortable reading with the hope this would make them want to read more! Being able to have the book \"A letter from your teacher on the first and last day of school\" made me so happy! I am going to be able to read it to them and have them write a letter to me that we will open at the end of the school year. I also created a letter from me to my students, following the book format as an example and I think it is a great ice breaker for the first week of school. \r\nI plan to set aside at least 10-15 minutes a day for students to wind down and silent read around the classroom and now we have these amazing engaging books from a variety of authors that they will be comfortable picking up to read and hopefully not want to put them down!","fullyFundedDate":1749482950714,"projectUrl":"project/classroom-library/9395124/","projectTitle":"Classroom Library","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Murillo","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9911244_orig.jpg?crop=4000,4000,x0,y506&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1754423632982","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9911244"},{"teacherId":9875655,"projectId":9021317,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for helping my students and I with these materials and Math games. \r\nBirthday's are important to celebrate in school.
