When the boxes arrived, my students could hardly sit still—they were so excited to see what was inside. The new books were a huge hit right away, and it's been amazing to see kids who don't usually love reading suddenly asking if they can take a book to cozy up with. The stuffed animals made our reading corner feel extra warm and inviting, and now everyone wants a turn reading with a \"reading buddy.\"\r\n\r\nThe games have brought so much fun and energy to our learning stations. Students are practicing their skills without even realizing it—they just know they're having a great time. And the organization bins? Total game changers. Our materials stay neat, students know where everything goes, and our transitions are smoother than ever.\r\n\r\nYour generosity made our classroom feel happier, calmer, and more exciting to learn in. My students talk about these new additions all the time, and it's clear how much it means to them. The Animal Alive Kit has quickly become the heart of our learning space. My students use it daily during morning meetings, small-group lessons, and sensory breaks. IT also included wonderful curriculum that has made lesson planning easier and more effective. The students love learning about the alphabet, word families, and the variety of animals! \r\n\r\nTheir reaction when the kit first arrived was pure excitement. Several students immediately began identifying animals, running their hands over the textured sections, and inviting friends to sit with them. For many of my students, comfort and sensory support make a huge impact on learning—this rug gives them a place to feel grounded, engaged, and ready to explore.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we're integrating the rug into our upcoming science unit on animal habitats. Students will be using the rug to sort animals into categories, practice vocabulary, and build simple stories about where each animal lives. Your gift didn't just provide a classroom item—it opened the door to richer lessons, stronger communication skills, and moments of joy that bring our learning community together. We are truly grateful for the difference you've made.","fullyFundedDate":1757527742942,"projectUrl":"project/bringing-learning-to-life-with-an-animal/9585836/","projectTitle":"Bringing Learning to Life with an Animal Alive Rug","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Lee","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8034340"},{"teacherId":3951157,"projectId":9585184,"letterContent":"Our class loved all the new learning stations! The students really loved building the rockets and matching the letters to the pictures that make the letters sound.
