It is because of your kindness my student are connecting mind and body.\r\nStudents are learning to allow the eyes and the hands to work together. It was amazing to watch the students learn how to twill the Double Dutch ropes. however their tenacity paid off and now they are learning how to jump in and out. It is wonderful to see how they are using their eyes to get the rhythm of the ropes, so they can jump in without tangling themselves in the ropes. \r\nThe jacks were a great way to increase their eye hand coordination. They were also critical in bring my students parents and grandparents in the room. We had a jacks break at the end of the day. Parents and grandparents came in to show us how it was done. The were awesome. This helped build my classroom family. Everyone was engaged in a game of jacks.
