Because of your kindness, we now have access to sensory kits that will provide essential tools for our students to manage anxiety and overwhelming emotions.\r\n\r\nThese kits are more than just fidget tools or calming items—they are lifelines for students who are learning how to self-regulate in moments of stress. Whether it's through the quiet focus of ear plugs, the grounding sensation of a bumpy stickers, or the soothing scents of essential oils, each tool in the sensory kit gives students a healthy and effective way to calm themselves and refocus during the school day.\r\n\r\nAlready, I've had to use this kit to help a student in need when they were having a tough time in one of their more difficult classes. The student shared, that the small cute stickers helped her smile just a bit in that moment. Now she has something to carry with her if she ever feels overwhelmed again. These moments are a powerful reminder that your donation is helping meet not just academic needs, but emotional ones as well.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in our students and supporting their well-being. They also marketed the station to reduce mental health stigma.\r\n\r\nThis service project will be expanded across our campus and at our annual wellness fair and parent nights to highlight the resources. Students eagerly joined each station, trying out calming tools and practicing new coping strategies.\r\n\r\nWhen the boxes first arrived, the excitement was immediate. Students explored the fidgets and calming tools, commented on the colors and scents, and many asked how we got it all donated! They were so excited to see how much was ordered!\r\n\r\nNext, our social work team will continue using these materials to host monthly wellness sessions and a larger schoolwide wellness fair. Your contribution has made a powerful impact on our students and readers alike.\r\n\r\nShakespeare's works, while timeless, can often be challenging to understand due to their original language. These translated editions have opened new doors, allowing readers to connect more deeply with the themes, characters, and stories. Students who once struggled with comprehension are now engaging with the material in meaningful and insightful ways.\r\n\r\nYour support has not only enriched our literary resources but has also fostered a greater appreciation for classic literature. These books have sparked curiosity, inspired thoughtful discussions, and brought the magic of Shakespeare to life in a way that is accessible and enjoyable for all.\r\n\r\nThank you once again for your thoughtful gift. Thanks to your donations, our students had the opportunity to conduct a hands-on electrochemistry lab, allowing them to explore how batteries generate electricity through redox reactions. This experience brought the concepts of voltaic cells to life, reinforcing their understanding of how chemical energy is converted into electrical energy. Rather than just reading about these principles in a textbook, students were able to construct their own electrochemical cells, measure voltage, and see firsthand how different metals influence battery performance.\r\n\r\nThis lab was a turning point for many students, making a challenging topic more engaging and accessible. Several students shared that they now have a much clearer understanding of how batteries power everyday devices, from their phones to electric cars. Thanks to your donation, our classroom now has a set of brand-new Bunsen burners, allowing students to safely and effectively conduct flame-based experiments.\r\n\r\nBefore, our old burners and worn-out rubber tubing made it difficult to achieve a steady flame, affecting our ability to perform key lab activities. But with these new burners, students can now experience hands-on learning in a whole new way!\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting labs we've done is the Flame Test Experiment, where students observed how different elements produce unique colors when heated. They were amazed to see how electrons jump from the ground state to an excited state and release beautiful hues of red, green, blue, and violet. Seeing chemistry come to life before their eyes sparked excitement and curiosity!\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we will continue using these burners for more chemistry experiments, including combustion reactions and exploring the principles of heat transfer.
