Students are continuously developing their skills in making observations and understanding motion and operation. This month, we will build simple electrical circuits to figure out how electrical current travels. In the new year, we'll dive into renewable energy by building our very own solar panel.\r\n\r\nWe cannot express our profound gratitude enough for making these hands-on investigations possible.","fullyFundedDate":1758377700287,"projectUrl":"project/awaken-the-scientist-within/9723418/","projectTitle":"Awaken the Scientist Within!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Leslie","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10000479_orig.jpg?crop=1631,1631,x0,y108&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1744762283499","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10000479"},{"teacherId":10000479,"projectId":9258517,"letterContent":"Thank You for Your Generous Donation\r\n\r\nYour donation has made a huge impact on our STEM classroom, and we're so grateful for your support. Your donation has allowed them to dive into structured play, explore robotics and simple coding projects, and use their imaginations to build all kinds of creative structures.\r\n\r\nOver the summer, these new resources were also a game-changer for our school's AIMS program. They helped students work together and connect across different subjects, making a real difference in their engagement and teamwork.\r\n\r\nFor the 2025-26 school year, we plan to take our learning to the next level by adding a community component to our lessons. We'll be exploring everything from life cycles to earth systems and energy, and we'll bring these lessons to life with field trips to places like the Natural History Museum, the Bronx Zoo, and the NY Aquarium.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your incredible generosity.
