Having a backup device is great to keep the learning moving without stopping for all of these tech issues!\r\n\r\nIn addition, I have already been able to obtain some materials from Teachers Pay Teachers to make the first couple days of school even better! For example, I downloaded a \"Atom of my Life\" getting to know you worksheet, where students drew things in their life that were positive (protons), neutral/grounding (neutrons), and negative (electrons). The 13 quart bins have also been helpful in starting a series of building lab kits that my colleagues and I hope to continue using for many years with this curriculum.\r\n\r\nThe biggest hit was probably the first few products of my project that contributed to my brand new \"SEL Corner.\" Students instantly gravitated towards the \"Zen Sand Garden,\" Rubik's cubes, and stress balls (I probably need to order more soon already!). As soon as the supplies arrived, my students were filled with excitement and curiosity. These resources have truly brought our AP Biology classroom to life. The chalk markers have been a favorite—they've used them to build colorful, interactive models of photosynthesis and cellular respiration right on the lab tables. It was an amazing way for students to engage deeply with complex content in a hands-on, creative way.\r\n\r\nYour support has also made our classroom more fun and motivating.
