As I work with students in all three schools this allows not only me to use these materials but for me to share them with all staff and get the regulation tools into place that are so needed. \r\nSo what we as a yellow tulip group was create a box for each school that I can use but also any teacher can borrow to use and support them in learning how to use these tools as in the box is a manual of the regulated classroom program. \r\n\r\nI will say this week I used it with our high school and middle school kids and to see their smiles and hear them talking about how great they felt after doing the activities and using these supplies it was very heartwarming. I can't thank you enough cause there is really no words to really show how happy I am to know that people want to see kids in schools succeed and that your donation has made not only kids and staff happy but has helped them to realize that life is a time for enjoyment and to be a kid. Your contribution has completely transformed what began as an idea for a simple artistic outlet into a pretty powerful catalyst for wellness, compassion, and community connection. The idea for Watercolor Wednesdays came from one of my former students, who often uses art as a way to connect with others. It has been my privilege to begin this program and run with my student's enthusiasm about the potential in using watercolor art in classrooms. \r\n\r\nMy current students, who come from diverse backgrounds including seven different middle schools, have embraced this program with enthusiasm, and now they eagerly request \"Watercolor Wednesday\" every week. In a school environment where many students face challenges including economic hardship, learning differences, anxiety, and depression, this program has provided a vital space for self-expression, emotional growth, and connection.\r\n\r\nWhat makes your donation particularly meaningful is witnessing how students have taken ownership of their artistic expression and extended it beyond our classroom. During Mental Wellness Week, students created stunning watercolors that directly addressed themes of Peace, Connection, and Calm—concepts that resonate deeply within our school community. Our Watercolor Wall sparks conversations about empathy, creativity, and community connection. I don't think it's a stretch to say your funding has directly nurtured a generation of students who understand how art can bridge divides and inspire change. The impact of your generosity continues to ripple outward, influencing our school culture and creating a model of empathy-building that benefits not just our immediate community but the diverse neighborhoods our students call home.\r\n\r\nThank you ever so much for making our Watercolor Wednesdays come to life.
