It makes the room look so much nicer and more organized (which I love!) The reading organizer is also the perfect addition to my library! I can now showcase different books according to the seasons! My students adore the stem bins, and they get the chance to use them weekly when we have fun Friday. I have wanted a stem organizer for quite some time now, and I was about to just use my own money to buy one so I could make the organization flow better in my room. However, it made my whole year seeing that you donated to my classroom AGAIN and bought these items for me. I truly will never forget your generosity!!!","fullyFundedDate":1746628357801,"projectUrl":"project/stem-bin-organizers/9236219/","projectTitle":"STEM Bin Organizers!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Schlosser","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9980519_orig.jpg?crop=806,806,x569,y64&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1744242430982","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9980519"},{"teacherId":7346976,"projectId":8976107,"letterContent":"What a difference your generosity made! Fourth grade math is hard, and the materials provided by you made it hands-on and relevant. For example, the math grid paper allowed students to explore the difference between area and perimeter and how the area can stay the same while the perimeter changes based on the array. The large chart paper allowed for anchor charts of our learning to be posted around the room for quick relearning/confirming thinking and end-of-year review. The reusable long division graphic organizers helped break down a difficult concept into smaller steps and provided a common graphic that all students could rely on as a whole class, in partnerships, or during independent work. The cardstock allowed students to have individual hard copies of various other math graphic organizers and manipulatives that they could keep in their math folders/desks and get out any time they needed them. The magnetic blocks were not only fun for indoor recess, but they helped us during our geometry unit! One of my favorite things about the resources you provided is that they were not computer-based, but tactile manipulation and exploration. The impact was confidence in the students (and their teacher!) as mathematicians and retention of skills over time.\r\n\r\nI must apologize that I did not remember to have the students create thank you cards for you before the school year ended. I CAN share that they were absolutely THRILLED every time a new resource was presented and used. They were engaged and grateful and oohed and aahed! Heartfelt \"thank yous\" were readily spoken by all and multiple times! We talked about our generous donors from January to the end of the school year with reverence and appreciation! Thanks to your incredibly thoughtful donations, our treasure box treats are heavily restocked and replenished! We also now have several new STEM activities and projects that my kiddos got to utilize this past Friday during their Fun Friday reward! These donations are immensely impacting our room in such a wonderful way. My students (as well as myself) could not believe that someone that we have never met could be so thoughtful and kind-hearted.
