Sending love all the way from California! Thank you so much for the Valentine books. We really needed to update our collection for this holiday. The students loved checking them out this past month and I enjoyed reading Love Finds a Way to our 1st-3rd graders. This book allowed me to talk about this holiday and the importance of feeling loved. We discussed family love and how that is different from their teachers and classmates caring about them. Feeling loved is a great feeling and no one should feel alone. We also talked about the importance of welcoming new students into our space because we have many new students that enter our building each month. \r\n\r\nLOVE is more powerful than Hate. We touched on this topic too. We have many students fasting during Ramadan and they come to the library during lunch time.
