My bilingual students have the most trouble getting comfortable speaking English because their pronunciations still have a heavy spanish accent. They used the glue sticks, rulers, scissors, and markers to bring their ideas to life. Having everything they needed at their table helped them stay focused and work together without worrying about missing supplies.\r\n\r\nThese resources have made a big difference. My students are more confident, creative, and excited to learn. Up next, we'll be studying ecosystems, and students will be creating diagrams and anchor charts with the help of these same materials. The supplies have really made my back table look clean now that my extra copies are organized in the hanging file. When my students are absent, they know where they can find a copy. Also, my students recently used the markers for a class activity and I am so happy I had enough black markers for each group.
