The new books you provided have opened up exciting opportunities for learning and growth. Many of our students are discovering new worlds, ideas, and perspectives through these texts. They are practicing critical reading skills such as making inferences, analyzing characters' motivations, and connecting stories to their own lives. These skills are helping them become more thoughtful, confident readers.\r\n\r\nReading in our classroom has become an interactive, engaging experience. Students gather in our flexible seating areas to read independently, share passages with partners, or discuss ideas in small groups. The combination of fresh books and inviting spaces has made reading a joyful, immersive experience rather than just a classroom task.\r\n\r\nCertain students who previously struggled to engage with books are now eagerly picking up titles and staying absorbed for longer periods. Others are exploring genres they hadn't considered before, like graphic novels, biographies, or poetry, expanding their literary horizons. It's rewarding to see students excited to recommend books to one another and to hear them talk passionately about the stories they've discovered.\r\n\r\nYour gift is more than just books and furniture, it's an investment in our students' curiosity, confidence, and love of learning. Every page turned and every discussion sparked is a direct result of your generosity.","fullyFundedDate":1762267480085,"projectUrl":"project/ms-drowns-classroom/9867093/","projectTitle":"Ms. Drown's Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Drown","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10337030"},{"teacherId":10336889,"projectId":9866794,"letterContent":"This project has helped me provide a variety of texts within my classroom, particularly for students with disabilities. As educators, we understand that each student brings unique strengths, needs, interests, and learning profiles to the classroom. Having diverse, accessible, and appropriately leveled texts is essential for supporting their growth.\r\n\r\nStudents with disabilities often require differentiated materials to engage meaningfully with grade-level content. When we offer texts at varying reading levels, genres, formats, and degrees of complexity, we create multiple entry points for learning. This not only supports comprehension and skill development but also increases student confidence, motivation, and independence.\r\n\r\nMy students are most looking forward to reading \"Max the Mighty\" which is a sequel to the book we are currently reading- \"Freak the Mighty\". This book will allow them to work on their comprehension skills while earning the AR points that they need for the quarter.","fullyFundedDate":1762032799270,"projectUrl":"project/ar-books/9866794/","projectTitle":"AR Books","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Hasselbach","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10336889"},{"teacherId":10340902,"projectId":9873090,"letterContent":"Our students recently used the brand new skillets to prepare chicken to make for the recipe chipotle chicken corn chowder.
