We've already used them in an outdoor performance at the Kansas City Zoo. Our performance was after dark, in an open area without access to adequate electricity for corded lights and extension cords. The students were able to set up quickly and safely without tripping over cords and worrying about straining their eyes as they read their music in the dark.\r\n\r\nThe picture we shared is of our pit orchestra, which is already rehearsing with the stand lights to prepare for our school musical, Between the Lines. This musical requires musicians to perform in the orchestra pit, beneath the stage, with little to no lighting. The space is small and access to electrical outlets is limited. Your donation made it possible for us to adequately and safely illuminate our music stands for this performance.\r\n\r\nWe have plans to use them again on stage in our auditorium when we perform music with the projector running. The projector requires the house and stage lights to be dimmed which makes it difficult for students to see their music. These stand lights will allow us to perform movie music set to short scenes, or have a slide show running while we play. Your donation made it possible for every music stand to have a light without worrying about running cords across the stage. \r\n\r\nThank you for supporting our students. My students and I greatly appreciate it! The supplies you helped fund has already been making its way to help students create this school year. They were so excited for the scoring tools, it has made making sure their pieces are connected properly so much easier and more efficient for using. They are VERY excited about the new bright colorful glazes to make their pieces really come to life when we start glazing. \r\nThey are currently working on creating a seed pod- I attached photos of some in progress.
