Our kids have worked hard this year to improve their reading skills. With your help, we were able to purchase prizes for our prize box, stickers and tatoos. The kids were thrilled. Each week they work to earn points and the points are cashed in for a prize. We appreciate your funds that helped us do this.\r\nOne of the prizes purchased was slime and play- dough. We also bought a packet of fidgets that were a big hit. Some of the kids used fidgets to keep their focus as they worked on reading others took them home to share their reading success. \r\nOur program is designed to have weekly progress monitoring sessions. The kids know what their weekly goal for reading progress and as they meet their goal they too can choose a sticker or a tattoo to celebrate. It has made a great class job! \r\nI can't wait to incorporate it into our water conservation lessons and pbl that we will start in the spring.
