I am writing to express our heartfelt gratitude for your generous contributions, which have made a significant impact on our classrooms. Your support in providing essential kitchen supplies has truly transformed our educational environment, and we are incredibly thankful.\r\n\r\nThe importance of having the right tools cannot be overstated, and your donations have enabled me to purchases essential kitchen tools for my classroom. These resources have enabled us to offer practical, hands-on learning experiences that are vital for our students' growth and understanding. With your support, we have been able to equip our classroom with kid safe kitchen knives, a blender, hot plate, pans, mixing bowls, cutting boards, and storage for supplies.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, our students are now able to engage in meaningful cooking activities that enhance their learning experiences. The ability to learn by doing has proven to be an effective method for understanding complex concepts, and the kitchen supplies you provided play a pivotal role in this process. We wasted no time in putting our supplies to use. Our first activity was salsa! Students learned kitchen health and safety, then got right to work. Once our salsa was complete we had a count down taste test. Even students who said they do not enjoy salsa were willing to take a bite, and some ultimately said they enjoyed it. We were able to then take samples to other teachers and administrators. \r\n\r\nPerformance Wealth, your contributions have been particularly impactful. Your commitment to supporting education and empowering students is evident in the quality and thoughtfulness of the donations you have provided. The supplies we were able to purchase due to the donations by your organization has enabled us to conduct classes that are not only educational but also enjoyable and engaging for our students. The opportunities you have created for them to learn and grow are immeasurable, and we are deeply appreciative of your support.\r\n\r\nWe also extend our sincere thanks to the independent donors whose contributions have complemented those from Performance Wealth. Your generosity has allowed me to expand the scope of my instructional content and for that I am grateful. The additional supplies have made it possible to accommodate my entire class and offer more diverse culinary experiences. Your support underscores the power of community involvement in education and has inspired me to continue to strive for excellence in my teaching practices.\r\n\r\nThe benefits of using these kitchen supplies properly have been manifold. Students have gained confidence in their culinary abilities and have learned the importance of teamwork and communication in the kitchen. These are invaluable life skills that extend beyond the classroom and into their daily lives. Furthermore, the practical application of math and science in cooking has reinforced their academic learning, making subjects that were once challenging now accessible and enjoyable.\r\n\r\nYour contributions have not only provided tangible resources but have also fostered a sense of pride and accomplishment among my students. They take great care in using the kitchen supplies responsibly, understanding the value of what has been given to them. This sense of stewardship is an important lesson in gratitude and responsibility, and we have you to thank for instilling these values in my students.\r\n\r\nIn closing, we want to express our deepest appreciation for your unwavering support and generosity. Performance Wealth and our independent donors have made a lasting impact on our educational community. Your contributions have enriched our classrooms, empowered our students, and inspired our educators. We are truly grateful for your partnership and look forward to continuing this journey together.\r\n\r\nThank you once again for your kindness and support","fullyFundedDate":1763494156380,"projectUrl":"project/get-cooking/9786252/","projectTitle":"Get Cooking!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Rickner","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6473580_orig.jpg?crop=1209,1209,x456,y1290&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1560987536688","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6473580"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_86508","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":81,"numTeachers":6,"percentFrplEligible":59,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":67,"percentIndigenous":10,"percentLatinx":2,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"13.5:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":75.0,"schoolId":86508,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Oilton High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Oilton High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/oklahoma/oilton-school-district-i-20/oilton-high-school/86508"}
