It is amazing to see the pride on their faces as they read to themselves and each other during center time. \r\n\r\nMy students are also thoroughly enjoying all the books related to our curriculum topics! They have loved exploring trade books that match what we are learning. They see the vocabulary they have learned come to life in the pictures in the books, and they add on to their background knowledge as we do read alouds together! The books give them new ideas to use as well, as they play with their new knowledge daily in play centers and recess. \r\n\r\nHaving new books in our classroom has been such an exciting event mid-way through kindergarten.
