Students often come in hungry and tired and the protein bars give them enough \"umpf\" to get to work academically on the recovery materials they need in order to graduate high school. \r\nI am currently using the books and workbook/activity books to put together the curriculum for Anatomy and Physiology course. There is such a need for health care workers that anything we can do in high school to make their transition to college work easier and help them recall ALL the info that this course provides will be helpful way beyond the high school setting.\r\nThank you for your wonderful generosity and willingness to give and be a blessing. The references that now hang around the room are regularly referenced when working through problems. \r\n\r\nThe favorite for my students was the sight of the snacks. They were so excited to see snacks that most had never even tried. High school kids are always hungry, but my kids more so seeing as most come from low income, struggling households.
