As expected, the students absolutely adored them. Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing is a light-hearted and funny story that students of all reading levels were truly able to enjoy. The kids looked forward to ending our day everyday with our class reading time! \r\nWhile we read, we got to participate in some amazing classroom discussion. We talked about the connections kids felt between their own lives and some of the characters. We talked about making predictions and inferences based on the details of the text. We did character studies and really picked apart characters' actions and words and how we could begin to find patterns to then relate back to specific traits. Arguably even more important, is the kids got to just enjoy the story, continuing to spark that love for reading and books that is SO important to have as they continue to move into 5th grade and soon middle school. \r\nThank you for allowing us to end our year in the most meaningful way!","fullyFundedDate":1742947903795,"projectUrl":"project/tales-of-a-fourth-grade-nothing-for-my/9158271/","projectTitle":"Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing (for my 4th graders!)","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Ribeiro","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8454187_orig.png?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1741741121426","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8454187"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_21589","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":560,"numTeachers":45,"percentFrplEligible":20,"percentAsian":29,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":37,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":28,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"12.4:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":82.8,"schoolId":21589,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Northside Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Northside Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/new-york/levittown-union-free-school-district/northside-elementary-school/21589"}
