The new classroom rug has quickly become the heart of our room. My students now gather comfortably each day to listen, share ideas, view artwork, and participate in art discussions without the distractions or safety concerns of our old rug. One of the most meaningful moments was watching students eagerly choose a spot on the rug, sitting close together and raising their hands to share what they noticed or wondered about an artwork. It has strengthened our sense of community and made learning feel calm, joyful, and inclusive.\r\n\r\nThe beads have added an exciting hands-on element to our art studio. Students immediately lit up when they saw the colorful assortment and couldn't wait to begin creating. They are using the beads to design necklaces, bracelets, keychains, and small bead animals, projects that build fine motor skills, focus, and creativity. I've seen students who are usually quiet become deeply engaged, carefully planning patterns and proudly sharing the personal meaning behind their designs. Many students expressed how special it felt to create something unique that they could take home and cherish.\r\n\r\nBy supporting this project, you gave students more than supplies—you gave them a space and tools that show their ideas matter. Our next steps include expanding bead projects into lessons on pattern, storytelling, and cultural symbolism, as well as continuing to use the rug as a gathering space for art reflections and collaborative discussions. Because of you, my students feel valued, inspired, and confident as artists. Thank you for helping create a classroom where every child has a place to sit, share, and create with pride.","fullyFundedDate":1765821130373,"projectUrl":"project/art-room-rug-and-beads/9894743/","projectTitle":"Art Room Rug and Beads","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Stout","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10350074_orig.jpg?crop=1932,1932,x0,y644&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1763063369116","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10350074"},{"teacherId":9389757,"projectId":9915456,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation of materials to our EBD classroom.
