My little ones loved using the smaller basketballs and foam volleyball. My students must feel successful when we are doing a unit, no matter what it is. When we practiced basketball skills in the past, it is tough for my \"smalls\" to reach the basketball goal (even the low goals) to make a basket with a normal-sized basketball—having the small ones made all the difference in the world. Using the foam volleyball for all grades k-5 also encourages better skill techniques as well because there is less \"stinging\" on the arms. \r\n I see over 200 students within 2 days and to replace equipment or get the correct size for them to be successful is impossible on the budget we are given. Without the help of your donation, it would not be possible. We are excited to continue improving our skills with what we have been able to get with our Replenish and Replace project.
