Your generosity has made a meaningful difference in the way our students learn, regulate, and participate throughout the school day.\r\n\r\nOur new sensory resources are already becoming an important part of our classroom routine. Students can use them when they need movement, calming input, or a short break from the sights and sounds of a busy preschool classroom. These tools give our students a positive way to recognize what their bodies need and return to learning when they are ready.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, the students were incredibly excited to explore them! Their curiosity quickly turned into meaningful opportunities to practice using the tools appropriately. One of my favorite moments has been watching students who may have previously struggled to remain engaged discover that taking a sensory break can help them feel calm and ready to rejoin the group. Instead of becoming overwhelmed and missing part of an activity, students are beginning to learn that they have tools available to help their bodies get regulated.\r\n\r\nThese resources have also helped us build important social-emotional skills. We are teaching students to identify how their bodies feel, communicate when they need a break, choose an appropriate sensory tool, and return to classroom activities. These are important skills for young learners and will continue to support them as they grow.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, we will continue incorporating the sensory resources into our daily routines, classroom centers, and transitions. Our next step is helping students become increasingly independent in recognizing their sensory needs and making appropriate choices to support themselves. We are excited to see how these tools continue to help our students feel safe, included, confident, and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping make our classroom a place where every child has the opportunity to participate, learn, and succeed. It was clear right away that this space felt different — welcoming, cozy, and just for them. Students quickly began using the carpet as a hub for watching demonstrations, sharing ideas, and collaborating on art projects.\r\n\r\nThe wobble cushions have opened up new ways for students to focus and engage with their work. The floor dots, or \"paws,\" have helped students line up and organize themselves independently at the end of class, making transitions smoother and giving them ownership over the space. These changes have made our classroom feel more flexible, fun, and supportive of every student's learning style.\r\n\r\nWith these new resources, students are already taking on bigger and more creative projects. The hooks help us stay organized and the messy mats make clean-up so much easier — our classroom feels bright, welcoming, and ready for creativity.\r\n\r\nThese new resources have made a huge difference in how confidently students create. Instead of worrying about getting paint or glue on their clothes, they can focus on expressing themselves and exploring materials. The messy mats have been perfect for our paint and future clay projects — keeping our tables clean and our process smooth. Even our youngest artists have learned how to take care of their space and use their smock responsibly.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping make our art room feel special and cared for. In a Title I school like ours, every resource makes a big impact.
