Students are more motivated and excited when they can see their ideas come to life. We have used our printer to help with Problem-solving, creativity and collaboration. Students learn to identify problems and create solutions through the design process. Our printer has acted as a tool for creativity, allowing students to design and build their own unique projects, such as custom bubble wands or bubble makers. 3D printing projects often require students to work together, improving their communication and teamwork skills. This helps my students learn to collaborate with each other. \r\nThank you so much for your donations to our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1746468286290,"projectUrl":"project/come-build-with-us/9281887/","projectTitle":"Come Build With Us!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Trembath","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp1931205_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1449014075716","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mrs-trembath"},{"teacherId":1931205,"projectId":9192738,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donations to our classroom! It is so important in our society to expose children to excellent literature that will help them read together and discuss what they have read about characters and their challenges.\r\n\r\nThe books I carefully selected for this project, I displayed at the front of the room and allowed students to pick them up and read them if they had an interest in them. I chose one of the books to use as a read-aloud to my two classes. It helps the students to hear a teacher read fluently and with expression as they model appropriate reading strategies. \r\n\r\nI selected a class set of novels so that we could read, \"Fish in a Tree,\" together as a class and discuss each chapter with thought-provoking questions and have thoughtful discussions about how students are different and how our challenges can make us unique, but how we can all learn from each other. \r\n\r\nThank you again for purchasing our novels and books about empathy and compassion.","fullyFundedDate":1733255582076,"projectUrl":"project/empathy-evolves-using-books-toteach-abo/8819078/","projectTitle":"Empathy Evolves: Using Books toTeach About Compassion","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Frye","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2236186_orig.jpg?crop=985,985,x850,y813&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1582833997608","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/2236186"},{"teacherId":2236186,"projectId":8794973,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation to provide historical fiction, poetry books, folktales, nonfiction books, and a novel set of Soft Rain to my students. The students enjoyed reading about Soft Rain, since she is close to their own age. \r\nI find that having my students read about children their own age helps to instill a sense of empathy and allows them to question what they would do in those circumstances. \r\n\r\nIt is significant to provide literature for children to educate them about life-changing events that happened to children that altered their world. Sometimes we think of history only happening to adults, but it is vital that we teach students to understand that history happened to children too.
