At the end of each month, they get to \"shop\" for fun items using the classroom currency they've earned by showing positive behavior, helping others, staying on task, and participating in lessons. The store is filled with exciting little treasures that you helped make possible—from small toys and books to stickers and fun school supplies. Watching my students proudly \"buy\" something with the points they've worked so hard to earn is truly priceless.\r\n\r\nThe classroom store has not only added excitement to our routine, but it's also teaching important lessons in patience, decision-making, and responsibility. When my students saw the items for the first time, their faces lit up with joy and curiosity. Some even started saving their points for a bigger item later—such an amazing moment of self-control and planning for our little learners! We'll continue to use this system all year as a fun and meaningful way to reinforce positive behavior and build life skills. Thanks to your contributions, my students now have access to new centers that help their fine and gross motor skills, which have already made a significant impact on their learning experience. When the materials first arrived, the excitement in my classroom was palpable. Students eagerly gathered around to unpack everything, their faces lighting up with joy and curiosity. One of my students exclaimed, \"This is the best day ever!\" It was truly a heartwarming moment that underscored how much these resources mean to them.\r\n\r\nWe have already incorporated the new materials into our daily lessons. For instance, we recently completed a hands-on project where students used Play-Doh to create their letter following their Play-Doh mats. This activity not only deepened their understanding of letters but also fostered collaboration and creativity. Seeing them so engaged and motivated was a rewarding experience, and it was all made possible because of your generosity.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, these resources will continue to enrich our learning environment. We are currently working on writing our names the Play-Doh that will allow students to further develop their skills and knowledge. Thanks to you, they now have the tools they need to succeed and grow in their academic journey.","fullyFundedDate":1737734554779,"projectUrl":"project/let-gets-out-students-pre-started-with-g/8977429/","projectTitle":"Let Gets Out Students Pre-Started With Good Foundation","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. B","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9786995_orig.jpg?crop=3024,3024,x0,y504&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1743693656472","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-buffington"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_110435","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":257,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":55,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":3,"percentWhite":9,"percentIndigenous":43,"percentLatinx":36,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 6","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":63.0,"schoolId":110435,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Noah Webster Schools - Pima on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Noah Webster Schools - Pima","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/arizona/arizona-department-of-education/noah-webster-schools-pima/110435"}
