My students have so much enjoyed being able to come into my office as their safe space to be able to relax with their new fidgets, enjoy a quick snack, and learn about ways to manage their anxiety with the new books. As time goes on, I will continue to grow and develop more items for my students to be able to use but this is such a good start for them. Most people don't understand that the nurses office tends to get missed when it comes to budgeting, so my budget tends to be very low. Without the help of the generous donations from complete strangers, this would not have been possible. My students are able to come in and be themselves and open up about how they are feeling. Even my principal has commented on the things we were able to get and continues to be amazed at all we have for our students.
