My students love to read and love a variety of book topics!\r\n\r\nWe normally start our mornings with a read aloud after calendar time. We also incorporate read alouds in our other subjects such as math, science, and social studies. This helps introduce topics as well as give students visuals as we intertwine reading. \r\n\r\nThe students were thrilled to receive their holiday books during our Christmas party as well as our Valentine's party. They like to read their books at home with family members and count how many books they have collected. They are very appreciative of the books and love to read them. They are also loving our new books that are included in our curriculum!
