Our school library often has a hold list for these books, so I love having a set in class that the kids can come to as well.\r\nIt's been great having an OBOB set of books since the beginning of the year too. My students are absolutely thriving with these multisensory materials. They love matching uppercase and lowercase letters, tracing and writing on whiteboards, saying their letter sounds, building their names, and forming words they know by heart. The numeral rocks have also been a huge hit—students enjoy tracing the numbers, writing them, and matching them to dice.\r\n\r\nThese hands-on activities have made learning letters, sounds, and numbers joyful and engaging. From the moment the table was unwrapped, the excitement in the room was contagious. The children gathered around with wide eyes, eager to roll up their sleeves and start exploring. One student exclaimed, \"Now we're like real scientists!\"\r\n\r\nWe've been using the table every day as part of our STEM exploration center. Students have been busy experimenting with pouring, scooping, and measuring, discovering how water moves through funnels and how sand can be shaped, sifted, or mixed to create different textures. The teamwork, problem-solving, and creative thinking that has emerged is incredible to watch.\r\n\r\nBeyond science concepts, this table has become a hub for collaboration and communication. Students are learning to share tools, negotiate space, and plan together. It's beautiful to see them naturally practicing empathy, patience, and cooperation—all while having so much fun that they don't even realize how much they're learning.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, we're expanding our use of the sand and water table to connect with upcoming lessons on weather and the water cycle. Students will soon explore how evaporation and condensation work through hands-on mini \"rain cloud\" experiments. These experiences will deepen their understanding of science while continuing to nurture curiosity and creativity.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has given my students the chance to learn in the most meaningful way—through joyful discovery. The smiles, laughter, and wonder you've made possible in our classroom are priceless.\r\n\r\nThank you for investing in our young scientists, engineers, and creators.
