This hands-on work has created a strong sense of pride and ownership, with students eagerly tracking progress and asking what comes next.\r\n\r\nIn the classroom, the project has naturally connected to math and planning skills. This week, students will measure the garden space to determine perimeter and area, applying concepts in a meaningful, real-world context. Students will soon begin researching types of plants to grow, learning about growing conditions, and deciding which garden beds will house each type of plant.\r\n\r\nAlthough the garden is still in progress, the impact is already clear. Students are engaged, motivated, and deeply invested in a project that connects learning, teamwork, and community.
