The smiles said it all. \r\n I am also an advisor to after-school clubs, and when my kids came in and saw the yummy snacks, each one was beyond happy to have a snack to get them through after school. Since it is the Chess Club, fueling the minds was very important! \r\n A few years back, I had some former students (now high schoolers) come to me asking me if I had any snacks they could have. Because of that, I tried to keep something in my drawer for such occasions. As interest grew from a snack, I found myself running out quickly and had to turn down these kids. Now I do not have to!! When they come in to grab a snack, they are pleased with the array of choices and all have extended a \"Thank You\" to you for such a kind gift. \r\n\r\n\r\n Your kindness continues daily. I have a classroom of students from kindergarten through sixth grade, who are coming in for math intervention. I use the games to reinforce a skill that we have been working on. Often, my kids are more successful when applying the skills during a game. They do not even realize the math skills being used. It is a win/win for all of us. \r\n I share a classroom with another interventionist, and her students also enjoy these games. I received the Jenga version of Addition, Subtraction, and Multiplication. They are a hit. Although it can get noisy, putting paper under the blocks is helpful when they fall. Have my students solve the problem before they build the tower; therefore, they don't have to decide how to solve it and then choose which block to remove. These are a lot of fun for everyone, including the teachers.","fullyFundedDate":1746483028184,"projectUrl":"project/learning-math-through-games/9290328/","projectTitle":"Learning Math Through Games","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Malley","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7889555_orig.jpg?crop=288,288,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1745852839026","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7889555"},{"teacherId":5578685,"projectId":9458084,"letterContent":"I wanted to say thank you so much for the items you helped to purchase for my students.
