The children have loved to come over during free choice time to choose a Tonie to listen to using the head phones! They often will wear the head phones and sing and dance to the song they are listening too! We often will listen to a story from the Tonie box during breakfast or lunch time as well. This creates conversation at our family style table for the kids to communicate and build their relationships with their peers because of the stories they are hearing. I have even noticed a new love for books come to life in our classroom. After receiving our Tonie box I brought out some of the books that relate to our exact Tonies. The children will often go to the book shelf and \"read\" the stories themselves now after hearing the Tonie stories.
