This quarter, students have been able to use the guitar stand to keep the guitars off of the floor which allows them to be safely and appropriately stored. I have also been able to have students perform for their class using the microphone stand and microphone that was purchased to allow students with non-amplified instruments (acoustic guitar) to perform and still be heard. \r\nThe microphone has also allowed my singers to develop more confidence \r\n\r\nin their singing because they can be heard, and they don't need to shout over the other instruments that are performing. The bass guitar has been an amazing addition to my classroom, because until now we haven't had one in the room! The bass guitar has been so fun for the students, that they each wanted to try to play it before deciding which instrument they wanted to play. The amp cables have allowed students to be able to bring their own instruments from home, as well as being able to properly use the electric bass guitar that was purchased through donors choose.\r\n\r\nThe students were so excited to have a guitar stand, and to have microphones available for when it is time to perform. The next steps for this project, as students continue to learn, is to encourage them to be life-long music makers. These students may not be able to purchase their own instruments, however I'm hoping their experience in Rock Band encourages them to continue making music and appreciating music for the rest of their lives.","fullyFundedDate":1727462959760,"projectUrl":"project/rock-out-at-mountain-view/8577510/","projectTitle":"Rock Out at Mountain View","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Tokazowski","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9633396"},{"teacherId":6534244,"projectId":8575338,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for the donation!\r\n\r\nOur incentives have been printing out but I only have a couple of photos.
