I have 4 classes of science and all have been able to use the goggles so that we can do certain experiments. We've been doing weathering on rocks where they shake the rocks and break them down and that can cause some pieces to fly up, so having protective goggles has enabled them to experience this activity hands-on rather than watching a video. \r\nThese goggles can extend beyond science experiments as well. We use them in many different ways, including matching games, playing go fish, and incorporating them into other games like Connect 4 or Don't Break the Ice. When they choose a card, they have to say the word 10 times by itself or a sentence 5 times. I love how the cards have real-life pictures on them because it helps my students connect the words to real life! They also enjoy the size of the cards as the previous cards I used were much smaller and more difficult to pick up. Overall, these cards are easy to use, hold, and have fun with! Each student got a bag with a set of headphones and a mouse they can use when we get the chance to be on computers. Each student also received a clipboard they are able to use for more flexible options around the classroom. They can do their work on the floor, or next to a friend, or even outside! The bonus is that these clipboards are also whiteboards to help us save on papers and pencils in the classroom. Finally, each student was supplied with a testing folder. This has been a class favorite. These folders are sturdy and help us easily block out most distractions when we really need to focus.\r\nMy students and I are so thankful for the opportunity to have and use these items in class. These items are essential to our class as we use most of them almost every single day that we are in school.
