With your donations and support, I was able to purchase a classroom set (plus some extras) of headphones for my students. This school year, each student has been using their new headphones each day when we use technology in our classroom. I have seen a HUGE difference in the students and hope that when we collect our mid-year data to see even more success. \r\n Our county uses a program called iReady as a diagnostic assessment and differentiated lessons to help \"bridge the gap\" on any skills that students don't feel as comfortable with. This program is great and really helps teachers in seeing where our students need help. The students work towards completing 45 minutes of their MyPath lessons each week in both reading and math. With the addition of the reliable headphones to the classroom, I have noticed an increase in student focus and success in completing lessons through their 45 minutes each week! You are to thank for that! \r\n The students in my school come from varying backgrounds. While we've requested that students bring their own headphones, very few students were ever able to bring in a pair that lasted the whole year and truly blocked out sound from the students working around them. We've provided headphones from the school before, but in order to be able to afford them, they were always cheaply made and easily broken or lost. This year, for the first time in my teaching career, each set of students has a working set of quality headphones! \r\n I am excited and eager to see how much my students grow this year and know that without your help, we may not have seen the same amount of focus and growth!","fullyFundedDate":1743267539019,"projectUrl":"project/lets-hear-about-it-supporting-growth-w/9213451/","projectTitle":"Let's Hear About It: Supporting Growth with Reliable Technology","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. O","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9984742_orig.png?crop=678,677,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1743016519103","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9984742"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_30990","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":575,"numTeachers":37,"percentFrplEligible":89,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":3,"percentWhite":83,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":7,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"3 - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"15.5:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":61.5,"schoolId":30990,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Mountain Ridge Intermediate School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Mountain Ridge Intermediate School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/west-virginia/berkeley-county-school-district/mountain-ridge-interm-school/30990"}
