Each class, I provided students with a selection of healthy snacks that the students enjoyed during brain breaks. The snacks were also used as incentive to create an engaging class experience for students. I witnessed a remarkable transformation in my students engagement, focus, and overall academic performance because they looked for that rewards. Providing healthy snacks throughout the day improved their energy levels (especially in the morning when students didn't eat breakfast) and enhanced their ability to concentrate and retain content. \r\n\r\nWhen I first introduced the snack to students their reaction were filled with excitement and curiosity. The \"why did they send us snacks,\" and \"that is for us?\" brought joy and gratitude to their faces. I informed students these snacks we're donated to help improved their learning which opened a conversation about how important breakfast is and how what we put into our bodies help us stay focused and energized throughout the day, rather than spiking our energy level then allowing us to \"crash\". \r\n\r\nMoving forward, I plan to continue integrating brain foods into my daily routine, especially as we dive into science concepts. My next steps would be to incorporate how different types of food affect our brain function and energy level in our biochemical and nutrients unit. \r\n\r\nThank you again for these brain boosting snacks that allowed every students to have the energy needed to be alert and engaged. Your support ensured that my students continue to thrive academically and feel empowered.","fullyFundedDate":1732324079387,"projectUrl":"project/brain-power/8734392/","projectTitle":"Brain Power","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Farrell","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9538594"},{"teacherId":4075113,"projectId":8783545,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation.
