The copy paper has been extremely helpful in printing out extra copies of student homework and providing paper copies of digital work for students who are not able to access the Internet at home. We have used the construction paper for classroom projects, as well as makeshift folders for students who are low on materials. My students would probably say that they particularly appreciate the SEL materials made possible by your donations, specifically the weighted Huskie stuffed animal and the chair bands. The chair bands have been very helpful in allowing student movement while they remain in their seats and are in high demand. The Huskie stuffed animal helps with emotional regulation and lives in our SEL corner. Thank you again very much for your donations that have made these items possible, from myself and my students!","fullyFundedDate":1755447052458,"projectUrl":"project/my-10th-year-of-teaching/9587947/","projectTitle":"My 10th Year of Teaching!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Lipo","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7722433"},{"teacherId":10166015,"projectId":9568860,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generous donation, our students now have access to tools that are making a world of difference in how they learn. The printer and laminating machine have been game changers, especially as we work to integrate technology in ways that are both engaging and educational. For instance, the printer allows us to create personalized learning materials, like worksheets, interactive reading activities, and even visual aids for complex topics like math and science. These materials are not just printed—they're tailored to meet the specific needs of each student, whether they need additional practice or more advanced challenges.\r\n\r\nThe laminating machine has allowed us to preserve and reuse resources in a way that makes our classroom more efficient and sustainable. The kids love the laminated posters and flashcards; they get to interact with them every day without worrying about wear and tear. The durability of the materials has also made it easier for students to practice independently during centers and small group work.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part for the students is the hands-on, tangible nature of what we create. They are thrilled to see their work transformed into something they can physically hold, whether it's a laminated chart or a colorful worksheet. They feel proud of the materials, and it motivates them to engage even more with the content. One student in particular, who has struggled with reading comprehension, is now able to interact with visual aids and worksheets that help make abstract concepts more concrete. Another student, who is a visual learner, has truly blossomed in this environment, using the laminated posters and charts to better understand and retain lessons.\r\n\r\nOverall, these new tools have enhanced not only their academic experience but also their confidence in learning. The students feel more empowered, and it's clear that the technology and resources you've provided are making their learning journey more dynamic, accessible, and enjoyable. Thank you again to The DonorsChoose Community for making this possible. Your support has truly made a lasting impact on my students' education.","fullyFundedDate":1756061103138,"projectUrl":"project/print-and-laminate/9568860/","projectTitle":"Print and Laminate","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. TeeJay","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-8_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/teejayho"},{"teacherId":9736028,"projectId":8748802,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting this project! Although I ran into a small snag and had to opt for some \"wiggle\" cushions instead of a rug, your donations still made it possible for me to provide my students with a comfortable place to gather and sit on the floor. My students have been more comfortable, focused, and happy in our classroom now that they have access to flexible seating that allows them fidget as needed while also completing their work.","fullyFundedDate":1736172949216,"projectUrl":"project/cozy-read-aloud-corner-seating/8748802/","projectTitle":"Cozy Read Aloud Corner Seating","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Bessler","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9736028_orig.jpg?crop=2876,2876,x416,y94&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1759163582120","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9736028"},{"teacherId":9601615,"projectId":8749558,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our Reading Nook project! As a first-year special education teacher, seeing my students light up when they discover a new book has been incredible.\r\n\r\nThese books are more than just stories—they're teaching my students important skills like empathy, perseverance, and teamwork, while also helping them build confidence in reading. Every day, I see them exploring our new library, finding books that reflect their interests and abilities. Some of my students, who used to shy away from reading, are now volunteering to read aloud, and some are discovering resilience through stories about overcoming challenges.\r\n\r\nThanks to you, our classroom is now a place where my students feel excited and supported as they grow as readers.
