Our colorful supply caddies make transitions smoother, and students love having everything they need within easy reach.\r\n\r\nThe reward system has also been a huge hit! When students earn a ticket and see me stamp it with my special teacher stamp, their faces light up. The Sour Punch Twists have become a favorite motivational treat, and it's been wonderful watching students encourage each other to earn them through positive behavior and responsibility.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the new materials, especially the world map border and bright organization tools, they were genuinely excited. There were lots of excited conversations, curious questions, and huge smiles as they explored the colorful boxes and read the rules. Some students immediately recognized a few classic games, while others were eager to dive into new ones they had never seen before.\r\n\r\nSince then, we've been using the games during both ELA and social studies lessons. During ELA, students have practiced strategic thinking and communication by playing games that require clear explanation of ideas and quick decision-making. In social studies, we've tied the games into our discussions about historical decision-making, teamwork, and the impact of choices on events. The games have also become a favorite part of our Friday Board Game Club, where students across all skill levels come together to collaborate, compete, and build community.\r\n\r\nOne memorable moment was during a recent Board Game Club meeting when a quieter student confidently taught Blokus to a group of classmates.
