The copy machine and printer have allowed me to quickly create engaging, differentiated materials for all learners. Having the ability to print visual aids, practice sheets, and interactive handouts on demand ensures that my students always have the resources they need to succeed. It has also helped me adapt lessons for students with different learning needs, allowing for more targeted instruction and a smoother classroom flow. The printer stand has provided a safe station to house the printer so that it locally in our classroom, ready to use.\r\n\r\nThe headphones and chair bands have been game-changers for student focus and comfort. Headphones give students the opportunity to work independently on digital assignments, listen to educational videos, or use learning platforms without distractions. The chair bands provide a quiet outlet for students who need to move while they learn, helping them stay engaged during instruction. These small changes have greatly improved classroom management and student concentration.\r\n\r\nThe label maker has added both organization and excitement to our space. Students love seeing clearly labeled bins, supplies, and learning stations—it helps them take ownership of keeping our classroom neat and functional. They even enjoy helping to make new labels for projects and group materials. Together, these tools have created a more efficient, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. The students are most excited about how \"grown-up\" and professional the classroom feels with these upgrades, and it's clear that these resources are helping them learn in a more focused, organized, and enjoyable way.","fullyFundedDate":1759266487344,"projectUrl":"project/engagement-better-learning/9402395/","projectTitle":"Engagement = Better Learning!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Mitchell","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10051866"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_15611","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":412,"numTeachers":32,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":2,"percentBlack":23,"percentWhite":27,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":43,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"12.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"TOWN_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":50.0,"schoolId":15611,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Morgan City Junior High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Morgan City Junior High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/louisiana/st-mary-parish-school-district/morgan-city-junior-high-school/15611"}
