Because of your contribution, we were able to purchase four rolling whiteboards, Play-Doh, clay, and a full class set of wired earbuds.\r\n\r\nThe whiteboards are already making a huge difference. Students are engaging in Vertical Learning by working on the boards around the room, sketching out ideas, solving problems, and sharing their thinking with each other. Having multiple boards has created a sense of movement, collaboration, and visibility that wasn't possible before.\r\n\r\nThe Play-Doh and clay have given my students a fun, hands-on way to brainstorm and model their design ideas. These materials spark creativity and help even the most hesitant students express themselves in a tangible way. I've already seen quieter students shine when they can show their ideas physically rather than just talking about them.\r\n\r\nFinally, the earbuds ensure that every student can focus during lessons, videos, and independent work. With a class set, we no longer have to worry about students being left out or distracted because they didn't have their own. This simple tool has made learning more inclusive and focused for everyone.\r\n\r\nYour donation has helped transform our classroom into a more collaborative, creative, and engaging learning environment. The materials we received — from flexible seating stools and fidget bands to binders, folders, whiteboards, and laminating sheets — have had a direct impact on both instruction and classroom organization.\r\n\r\nThe wobble stools and chair bands have given students new seating options that help them stay focused while still meeting their sensory needs. This has made group lessons and independent work time more productive and enjoyable. The addition of mini whiteboards has encouraged more active participation during lessons, allowing students to quickly share their thinking in a way that feels fun and low-pressure.\r\n\r\nOrganizational tools, such as binders, folders, and paper organizers, have enabled us to keep student work, resources, and daily materials easily accessible. Not only has this reduced transition time, but it has also empowered students to take ownership of their materials. The laminating sheets and dividers have enabled us to create durable resources that can be reused for practice, ensuring students always have engaging, hands-on tools at their disposal.\r\n\r\nBeyond academics, supplies such as copy paper, markers, and cleaning materials ensure that our classroom runs smoothly and remains a safe, clean environment for all learners.","fullyFundedDate":1746467652585,"projectUrl":"project/supply-me-with-success/9218715/","projectTitle":"Supply Me With Success!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Hernandez/Velto","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-10_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/1784139"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_44622","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":1821,"numTeachers":79,"percentFrplEligible":35,"percentAsian":5,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":32,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":55,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"23.1:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_MIDSIZE"},"inStateSupporters":85.8,"schoolId":44622,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Moorpark High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Moorpark High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/moorpark-unified-school-district/moorpark-high-school/44622"}
