My kids love using the flexible seating when their bodies have too much energy or are tired of being on the hard carpet. The kids love the easel because it allows me to take learning to any location in the classroom wether that's on the carpet, small groups, or back of the room. The flexibility it provides when we brainstorm or make anchor charts has been game changing. The book display allows students to visualize what we are focused on for the week and reference daily. The place value calendar has given my kids an amazing visual to use everyday, strengthening their place value math skills daily. Lastly, we love the use of the bookshelf because we have very limited book storage space. This allows me to lay out books for the month and have kids go read them any time throughout the day. Having them on display instead of hidden away allows them to be curious and explore books they have never seen before. \r\n\r\nThe kids love these new items to the classroom and take such pride in taking care of each item so that we can continue to enjoy it year round. \r\n\r\nFor my next project, I would love to add more flexible seating and materials for the kids to use where they can feel more like home and comfortable learning in different ways.\r\n\r\nThank you again for being part of my classroom and helping us make it like our home away from home.","fullyFundedDate":1748803497068,"projectUrl":"project/help-fund-my-title-1-classroom/9266723/","projectTitle":"Help Fund My Title 1 Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Perez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9059733"},{"teacherId":3577558,"projectId":8618252,"letterContent":"I am so thankful to you for donating to my classroom. The most important job that I have is to push reading to my 5th grade students that are about to go to middle school. Many students in my class struggle to read or are not interested in reading. I believe that promoting high quality books is the key to engaging them and getting them to read. I want my students to improve their vocabulary and comprehension skills and reading is the key to doing that. \r\n\r\nThanks to your generous donation I bought many Award Winning books, classics, graphic novels, and many fantasy books that have my students interested in reading. We are currently testing our students in reading and so far many have made amazing growth. And I truly believe its because they are reading more in the classroom and during their independent.
