Your belief in my class and your willingness to invest in their education has brought an immense amount of happiness, engagement, and growth into our classroom. \r\n\r\nSome of the ways your donation are making an impact during our daily lessons:\r\n~Magnetic Letters: The class use these to physically manipulate sounds. Moving a magnetic letter to blend a word like \"c-a-t\" helped the students to solidify an abstract skill into a more concrete experience. \r\n~Letter Tiles: During small-group sessions, students use letter tiles to build words and learn spelling patterns. The ability to quickly swap tiles allows them to experiment with spelling without the fear of making an error. \r\n~Individual Whiteboards: Students write out sight words, map out phonemes, or practice sentence structures and hold them up. This allows me to give immediate feedback and keeps the students engaged in the lesson. \r\n\r\nYour generous support changes the way my students learn every day, and we are incredibly grateful for your commitment to education.","fullyFundedDate":1771726610207,"projectUrl":"project/empowering-students-to-crack-the-code-of/10109213/","projectTitle":"Empowering Students to Crack the Code of Literacy!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Takushi","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8823789"},{"teacherId":8363582,"projectId":10105612,"letterContent":"Mahalo nui loa for your incredible generosity and support of my classroom! The students get so excited to use them. Sometimes they are able doodle on it in the calming corner with whatever they want and sometimes we use it to do ECRI instead of using white boards. They enjoy using them to learn. It makes it much more FUN! They students are so been using a lot of the toys to play with when needing breaks for as rewards. They especially enjoy the slug and magnetic men fidgets. \r\nIn the 4th quarter I always start a reward system for students to earn a pet when they complete all their work. They first start off with earning a house, which is the black container, that you donated! They can decorate their pet's house with markers and gems. The next weeks on they can earn their pet, food erasers, bed, toy erasers, make a collar, etc. They have so much fun getting all their item for their pets.
