When the materials arrived, my students were immediately drawn to the hands on tools, games, and colorful learning stations. Many of my students have special needs and learn best through movement, visuals, and touch, so having dry erase boards, manipulatives, writing tablets, and engaging games has made a huge difference in how confidently they participate. I have already seen students who usually hesitate to join activities become excited to take turns, write letters, and solve math problems using the new materials. \r\n\r\nWe are using these resources every day in small group instruction, centers, and social emotional learning time. The board games and conversation cards to help students practice communication, turn taking, and problem solving, while tools like sand trays, white boards, and drawing tablets support early writing and fine motor skills. When the sun does come out, they enjoy kicking the soccer ball! It's one ball that goes out almost daily!\r\n\r\nAnother thing that is used regularly are the stamps! The introduction of flexible seating and interactive learning tools has completely transformed our classroom environment. The donut cushions, wobble stools, and chair bands have been a hit since I got them. They've become so popular that we've implemented a rotation list to ensure everyone gets a turn. These options provide a vital outlet for physical energy, particularly the chair bands, which allow students to stay focused and productive while seated at their desks. \r\n The mobile flip chart stand allows me to conduct small-group reteaching and targeted instruction anywhere in the room, making our lessons more dynamic and responsive. The privacy shields have created dedicated \"distraction-free zones.\" Students now proactively use them not just for assessments, but whenever they need to enter a state of deep focus. The students love using the whiteboards and many students choose to use it to show their work for their online assignments, instead of using the digital tools. It's also a great way for me to quickly assess student learning and participation. \r\n Students thrive when they have a voice in their learning environment. These items have done more than just furnish a room; they have transformed our classroom into a space that respects individual needs and encourages autonomy. It provides a dedicated safe space where children can go to read, interact with sensory toys, or find comfort in a stuffed animal. More importantly, it has given my students the tools they need to regulate their emotions. In our classroom, we talk a lot about how it is okay to feel sad, angry, or frustrated. Thanks to your kindness, these children now have a peaceful area to relax, reset, and prepare themselves to return to their lessons with a focused and positive mindset.\r\n\r\nYour support does more than just provide \"things\"—it fosters an environment of empathy, self-awareness, and emotional safety. It has become the go-to spot for students to sit, relax, and even lie down when they need a quiet moment to reset.\r\n\r\nThe Sequin Wall Board: This is easily the biggest hit! It is amazing to watch the students' creativity come alive as they draw letters, numbers, and animals. Many students find it so soothing that they spend their entire break time engaged with it.\r\n\r\nDry Erase Boards and Markers: Because of your support, every single student now has their own board and marker at their desk.
