We were so happy to receive your amazing contributions. The kiddos were so surprised every time they opened the boxes. Thank you again for your support in helping bring our classroom project to life. Because of your generosity, we were able to provide our students with many fun, hands-on learning opportunities.\r\nThey were able to experiment using baking soda, food coloring, and vinegar to create an Earth model featuring land and water. Thanks to your baking soda donation, all of our kiddos were able to buddy up and create their own Earths. They were so excited, and because of your support, they experienced many \"WOW\" moments as they observed the reaction caused when vinegar touched the baking soda. Thanks to you, the kiddos were able to engage in conversations with their peers and teachers while taking turns adding green and blue food coloring.\r\nThank you for donating the mini pots. The kiddos were able to decorate their pots and then plant their seeds. We are hoping they will be fully blossomed by Mother's Day. The students are watering them daily and carefully observing their progress. They are learning how to care for plants while developing patience, responsibility, and strengthening their fine motor skills. This hands-on activity also supports cognitive development and teaches them about plant life cycles and the environment.\r\nThe kiddos also had an amazing time designing their mini wooden cars. They were so proud of their work and loved showing them off to their peers and teachers. The build-your-own cars turned out so cool! The parents and kiddos were incredibly creative—some added color, rhinestones, and little characters. We were even able to host a race at the end of our Wheels Study. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to provide teachable \"WOW\" moments that will make a lifelong impact on our kiddos' lives. I am so proud to be their teacher. It makes me so happy to see how much pride they take in their work.\r\nThank you again! Our team could not have done it without your generous and kind support. Thank you! Gracias! Arigato! Because of you, our students now have a calming space filled with tools that help them understand their emotions, take a breath, and feel safe when their feelings become overwhelming. One special moment that stands out was when a student quietly chose to visit the calming corner after feeling frustrated. Using the breathing prompts and sensory tools, they were able to relax and return to the group ready to learn again. Moments like that remind us how powerful it is for children to have a safe place to pause and care for their feelings.\r\nWhen the students first saw the new materials, their faces lit up with excitement and curiosity. They were eager to explore the calming tools, talk about different emotions, and share times when they have experienced \"big feelings.\" It quickly became more than just a corner in our room—it became a place where students feel comfortable expressing themselves and supporting one another with kindness and understanding.\r\nBecause of your thoughtful support, we will continue using these resources during our daily social-emotional learning time. Students are practicing mindfulness, learning how to name their feelings, and discovering positive ways to calm their minds and bodies. Your generosity has helped create a classroom where students feel safe, heard, and cared for. My kiddos were so happy when they saw all the cool supplies we received. The resources you have donated has helped all my students strengthen their fine motor skills. The adapted scissors helped my kiddos with special needs be successful in completing their activities with less adult support. The heart stickers also helped with their fine motor skills as they decorated a paper bag for our, \"Friendship Day\" (Valentine's Day).\r\n \r\nThe patches, fabric markers, and caps were a hit! When we received the donations, we were finishing the Clothing Study and starting the Exercise Study. These donations came at the right time, GRACIAS! My future designers had the opportunity to choose their favorite patch and glue it on their own cap. Then they had the opportunity to use the fancy, fabric markers to design their own cap. They were all so excited to do so. This learning opportunity spiked their creativity, thank you. \r\n\r\nIn addition, as we entered the Exercise Study we learned that we need to protect our bodies from the sunrays and wearing their caps during outdoor play will help. As our athletes wore their caps outdoors, teachers in our school and students from other classrooms complimented their caps and ask them where they got them. Our students are so happy and proud to say they designed them on their own. Thanks to you, they are building confidence in their social emotional skills and developing their language skills, as they interact and answer questions with other adults and kiddos who are not in their classroom. \r\n\r\nNow as we move forward and welcome the year of the, \"Fire Horse,\" we will be using the paper plates to create noisemakers for our Chinese New Year parade.
