The students have been so excited to use the new things in our makerspace program!\r\n\r\nYour donation has supported expanded and hands-on learning with new STEM maker projects. So far, our students have designed and built name tags, elevators, turkey traps, tree sculptures, articulated hands, and sleds. Our lower grade students have been able to use the pipe cleaners and paint markers alongside sustainable materials to plan and create free choice projects such as balls, books, rainbows, monsters and pumpkins.\r\n\r\nStudents have also been coming to the library during their recess and lunch to continue to create. Your donation has supported a student crochet and weaving club that meets once a week. And students regularly visit the library to do mindful coloring and origami, available every day.\r\n\r\nWe are so grateful that we can continue to engage students in developing motor, critical thinking, creative and innovation skills through hands-on projects. Your donations have already made an incredible difference for my 4th graders. Because of you, our learning space is more comfortable, welcoming, and responsive to each student's unique needs.\r\n\r\nThe flexible seating options—wobble cushions, adjustable floor chairs, and soft rug—let my students choose the places where they learn best. Many of my students already gravitate toward quiet corners, spots under tables, or floor spaces with clipboards. Thanks to your kindness, they now have safe and purposeful options that help them focus, wiggle, and still learn. \r\n\r\nYour support has also brought us essential supplies... everything from binders and headphones to dry-erase pockets, clay, art tools, drawing paper, and organizational materials. These tools have helped us to build routines that support focus, encourage expression, and celebrate student growth every single day.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in our classroom, for investing in our students, and for helping create a space where every child feels seen, supported, and excited to learn!
