Before this project, many of them had never worked with circuits or programmed a robot. Now, they are building and coding their own creations, seeing firsthand how electricity, sensors, and coding all work together to bring technology to life. This experience has transformed their learning from abstract concepts into real-world applications, making science and engineering more engaging and accessible.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part for my students has been watching their robots respond to the code they write. Seeing a robot move because of their programming fills them with pride and a sense of accomplishment. They are not just learning about technology—they are creating it. This project has also encouraged teamwork, problem-solving, and creative thinking, as they troubleshoot challenges and improve their designs together.\r\n\r\nOne student, who was initially hesitant about coding, has now taken a leadership role in helping others with programming. Another, who struggled with engagement in traditional lessons, is now excited to come to class and eager to build. These robotics kits have sparked curiosity, built confidence, and given my students a glimpse into careers in STEM.
