The wireless sound system allows every child to clearly hear directions, musical examples, and encouragement, helping students feel more confident and successful. I am able to move freely throughout the room to support students while protecting my voice, which keeps our classroom positive and energetic.\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting impacts has been the ability to bring music outdoors. The portability of this system lets us take our lessons outside, where students can sing, move, and create music in a fresh environment while staying fully engaged. Students absolutely light up when they get to use the microphones—whether leading a warm-up, sharing ideas, or performing for their classmates. Even my quieter students are finding the courage to step forward and let their voices be heard.\r\n\r\nThis gift has done more than provide equipment; it has helped create meaningful musical experiences, strengthened student confidence, and filled our classroom with joy. I am incredibly grateful for the support that continues to make music come alive for my students every day.","fullyFundedDate":1760693722150,"projectUrl":"project/loud-and-clear-giving-every-student-a-v/9756439/","projectTitle":"Loud and Clear: Giving Every Student a Voice","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Shiver","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp7967594_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1628781964562","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7967594"},{"teacherId":9766956,"projectId":9233695,"letterContent":"The arrival of our new classroom library books brought an immediate spark of excitement to our teachers and our students. The teachers were quick to inform me that when their students first saw the shelves filling with colorful covers and brand-new stories, many rushed to pick out a title and start reading right away. These books have quickly become a central part of my school's classrooms daily routines—students are using them during independent reading, small group activities, and even partner reading sessions where they take turns bringing characters to life with expression and fluency.\r\n\r\nThese moment, made possible by your generosity, showed our students that reading can be both enjoyable whether they are able to go to the library and check out a book or retrieve a book from their teacher's classroom libraries. The variety of titles ensures that every student finds something that reflects their interests, whether it's graphic novels, picture books, or chapter books that stretch their imaginations.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we plan to integrate these books into upcoming projects where students will create book talks, design posters, and share peer recommendations to build a community of readers. Your support has not only expanded our school's classroom libraries but also strengthened our students' confidence, motivation, and love for reading. Thank you for giving our young readers the gift of choice, voice, and joy through literature.","fullyFundedDate":1746787292130,"projectUrl":"project/favorite-books-classroom-libraries/9233695/","projectTitle":"Favorite Books Classroom Libraries","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. B.","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9766956"},{"teacherId":9766956,"projectId":9103126,"letterContent":"When our students first discovered that we would be hosting the \"Bringing Stories to Life: Masked Reader Competition for RAAW,\" their excitement was contagious. They were instantly drawn to the mystery and fun of guessing who was behind the mask while listening to a story being read aloud. The resources you helped provide allowed us to create an engaging and memorable reading celebration, where students not only practiced their comprehension skills but also developed a new sense of joy around literature. Many of them eagerly shared how the competition made reading feel \"like a game show,\" and it sparked conversations about stories that continued long after the event ended.\r\n\r\nThis project has already had a lasting impact in our school community. Teachers have noticed that students are more eager to participate in read-alouds, and some have even volunteered to take on \"masked reader\" roles in their classrooms to keep the tradition going. The competition brought students, staff, and families together in a way that highlighted the power of storytelling and the importance of literacy. As a next step, we plan to build on this momentum by integrating more performance-based reading activities and encouraging students to create their own \"masked reader\" skits, where they become both the storytellers and the audience.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has done more than fund a project—it has ignited a culture of excitement around reading that will carry into future lessons and activities. Thank you for helping us show our students that reading is not only a skill but also a source of joy, creativity, and community connection.","fullyFundedDate":1746787004125,"projectUrl":"project/bringing-stories-to-life-masked-reader/9103126/","projectTitle":"Bringing Stories to Life: Masked Reader Competition for RAAW","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. B.","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9766956"},{"teacherId":10045990,"projectId":9385140,"letterContent":"Thank you for helping to restock our library with some of the most popular books on our shelves! They learned very quickly to use less force with eyes, feet or tentacles and to add more pressure or dorce when rolling the xlay into a ball for the body. They had the best time and were really creative with their designs. This week (we have been testing until now), students were able to paint a picture withthe paint brushes, paint and canvases you provided!
