The stickers have been a huge hit as rewards for participation and effort, giving students an extra boost of motivation. The snacks have been a great incentive as well, helping to keep students energized and focused throughout the day. Additionally, the laminating sheets have allowed me to create durable learning materials, like flashcards and activity boards, that we can reuse all year long. \r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the stickers and snacks, their eyes lit up with excitement. They immediately started talking about how they could earn their favorite ones, and it has been amazing to see how such a simple addition has made a big difference in engagement. The laminated materials have also been a game-changer, especially for hands-on activities where students can use dry-erase markers to practice and revise their work without fear of making mistakes. \r\n\r\nLooking ahead, these resources will continue to support our learning environment in meaningful ways. See the photos of their Fake Movie Posters and Cultural Superheroes where they upped the quality of their work immensely. The students are also fascinated by the lamination machine so they love using the laminating pouches to laminate their own work and teach their friends how to laminate their work. They always ask \"once my drawing is laminated, will my work be put on the wall?\" because they want their friends to see their work from the hallway.\r\n\r\nSince seeing the materials some quotes included \"These new pencils are nice, Mr. G!\" and \"Why didn't we have these to begin the year?\" and \"Where did you get these pens? They're pretty good. I want to order them off Amazon.\" So overall a noticeable and very positive reaction to the new materials!\r\n\r\nWe are about to venture into Panel Art: Beginning, Middle, and End so I am excited to see what \"stories\" the students will come up with especially since so many kids love Marvel and Anime. I expect a vested interest in their own storytelling showing the cause and effect of their made up characters.
