They really love sitting in the Big Joe chair and the whole atmosphere of the room!\r\n\r\nThe laminated sheets have allowed scholars to use checklists to review their written work, and made many other resources reusable reducing our footprint on the world! The scholars have also enjoyed many of the organizers which provided them with a classroom with materials that are organized and clearly marked! A modern console like the PS5, with its immersive graphics and fast-paced interactivity, can become a bridge a shared space where success feels immediate, failure is low-stakes, and collaboration is natural.\r\n\r\nSome students who struggle to engage with traditional lessons may come alive when given a controller. They can demonstrate quick decision-making, strategic thinking, and even leadership when navigating a game. Cooperative titles can create moments where peers cheer each other on, breaking down walls between kids who might otherwise feel isolated. For students managing emotional disturbances, those bursts of accomplishment and peer validation can be powerful helping them build self-esteem and trust in others. The incentive of having time on the games Fridays after a week of hard work has changed the whole mood of the class. A PS5 has brought a whole new perspective on learning Global! Also, connecting the curriculum to a game in terms of the strategy involved adds a familiar light to a sometimes unrelatable story from the past. \r\n\r\nThe PS5 is the newest gaming system and some of the students guardians haven't purchased the item for them due to the cost. All the children recognize the sheer magnitude of having such a desirable piece of technology. Playing games like basketball, Fortnite, and Injustice have been a real joy for the kids.\r\n\r\nAs a high school Global teacher, my goal is to improve and learn in order to provide the students with the best instruction possible. Using new technology such as a gaming system enhances the ability to provide high quality socio-emotional connections with the students.
