Some of my students are well fed and happy. But they all come to the library expecting and deserving to have their needs met and knowing that they are welcome and loved.\r\nThe sensory aids that your gift has provided has allowed my students to better interact in the library space as they need. The vibrating pillow helped an autistic student self-regulate and stopped a normally aggressive response from occurring. The linked blocks and tactile boards give my students a mental break from curricular demands. And the wooden puzzles helps a nonverbal student communicate.\r\nThis project has been a wonderful addition to my library.
