Our school and the horticulture club are so excited to have our project fully funded. This project will reach so many students (and staff!) at our school\r\n\r\nWe are adopting a rescue tortoise from Christina's Reptile and Animal Sanctuary in Pennsylvania. We will be growing his food indoors/outdoors and it will be a great learning experience for my self contained special education class with SEL and STEM concepts. The whiteboard has quickly become the centerpiece of our lessons — it's where we brainstorm ideas, map out themes in our novels, and track class goals together. Students love coming up to the board to share their thinking, and it's made our discussions much more interactive and collaborative.\r\n\r\nThe addition of the new bookshelves has completely transformed our reading corner. Students have been helping organize our classroom library, taking pride in labeling genres and recommending books to one another. They're especially excited about the rotating bookshelf, which will soon hold a brand-new collection of young adult novels — they keep asking when the new books will arrive! Many have already started making wish lists of titles they hope to read and can't wait to dive into.\r\n\r\nNext, my students will be launching independent reading projects, where they'll choose books that interest them, set reading goals, and create reflections and book talks to share with their peers. Thanks to your generous support, our classroom is becoming a vibrant community of readers and thinkers. The digital wall clock has been a total game changer — students can easily keep track of time during activities and transitions, which has helped them become more independent and responsible. My personal favorite addition has been the remote control outlets! They've made it so simple to control our lighting and electronics, creating a calm and focused atmosphere with just the press of a button. The book cart has also been a wonderful organizational tool, helping keep our resources neat and accessible for both me and my students.\r\n\r\nThe Chromebook chargers have made a big difference in keeping our technology running smoothly — no more interruptions or dead devices during lessons! And the happy birthday pencils and squishy toys have become a sweet new tradition in our classroom. The text has come alive in our classroom, and students are discovering that Shakespeare isn't just for scholars—it's for them.\r\n\r\nYour donation didn't just provide books; it opened the door to deeper comprehension, richer conversations, and a greater sense of ownership over their learning.
