Because of this, our classroom is now stocked with facial tissues, hand sanitizer, band-aids, and snacks. These supplies truly keep our classroom running smoothly and our children happy and healthy. \r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the snacks, they were excited and thankful. In a classroom full of 4–5-year-olds, snack time is an important part of our daily schedule. When basic needs are met, our students are able to stay focused and engaged. \r\n\r\nWe are already using the supplies every day. The tissues and hand sanitizer help us keep our classroom clean and healthy, especially during this time of year when colds and the flu are going around. Recently, our school nurse visited our classroom to talk about germs and how to wash our hands properly. We will continue to reinforce ways to keep our classroom clean and safe for everyone. The space-themed bandages were a big hit, and our students were so excited to use them. It is such a blessing to have these available, as our students are still developing their gross motor skills and learning how to play safely. Thank you for helping our classroom feel safe and prepared. Your kindness helps us prioritize learning while also nurturing our students' well-being.","fullyFundedDate":1762267634627,"projectUrl":"project/everyday-supplies-for-everyday-needs/9742820/","projectTitle":"Everyday Supplies for Everyday Needs","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Vo","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10002375_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1758777023129","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10002375"},{"teacherId":10307703,"projectId":9904315,"letterContent":"The recess equipment has arrived, and I wish you had all been here to see it! It may not sound like a lot to have basketballs, volleyballs, soccer balls and other equipment, but it was like Christmas morning on the playground at Mark Twain Elementary today. My class wrote an announcement saying how excited and grateful they were for the new equipment and then took balls to the other classes and read their announcement. It looked like a different school out there seeing basketball games going on, students teaching each other volleyball, and lots of running all over the place playing soccer. It warmed my heart and I hope this message warms your too. The Magna-Tiles have made a big difference in our classroom. It has become a favorite learning tool for my students and the impact has been amazing.\r\n\r\nMy students love building together, which has helped them learn to share, work as a team, and solve problems. While they play, they are also learning about shapes, patterns, and how things fit together. This is extremely important as it supports the development of early math and STEM skills.\r\n\r\nUsing the tiles has helped my students build fine motor skills as they connect pieces together and create amazing structures. This open-ended exploration has also encouraged my students to use their imagination, helping to boost their confidence and creativity.
