Your donation of hands-on learning materials like magnetic letter boards, Wikki Stix, and Play-Doh means more than words can express.\r\n\r\nThese resources are already making a positive impact—helping my kindergarten students build the fine motor and letter formation skills they need to succeed. For many of them, traditional paper-and-pencil tasks can be frustrating, but now they have fun, engaging alternatives that meet their individual learning needs.\r\n\r\nYour kindness has brought more than just materials into our room—you've brought excitement, confidence, and opportunity. With your help, my students are not only learning their letters, but also developing a stronger foundation for their future education.\r\n\r\nThank you again for believing in inclusive learning and for supporting our classroom in such a meaningful way.","fullyFundedDate":1732650362113,"projectUrl":"project/special-education-mental-health/8915155/","projectTitle":"Special Education Mental Health","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Torres","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9823648"},{"teacherId":8424938,"projectId":8406707,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous support of our classroom! Your donation means the world to us and is already making a difference in our learning experience. Because of you, my students have access to better resources, and their excitement for learning has grown even more.\r\n\r\nWe truly appreciate your kindness and belief in our classroom community. Thank you for helping us learn, grow, and dream bigger.\r\n\r\nI want to take a moment to extend my heartfelt gratitude for your incredible generosity and support of our classroom. Your donation has made a significant impact on our learning environment, and both my students and I are truly thankful for your kindness.\r\n\r\nThanks to your contribution, we now have access to resources that were previously out of reach. Whether it's new books, classroom supplies, educational games, or technology, every item has brought fresh excitement and new learning opportunities to our daily routine. It's amazing to see the joy on my students' faces when they use the materials your donations provided. Their curiosity has been sparked in new ways, and they are more engaged than ever in their learning.\r\n\r\nAs a teacher, it is always my goal to create a space that nurtures growth, creativity, and confidence. However, limited resources often make this a challenge. Your support has helped bridge that gap and has made a lasting difference in our classroom community. You've not only contributed supplies—you've contributed to a brighter, more enriching educational experience for each and every child.\r\n\r\nMany of my students come from backgrounds where access to educational tools and opportunities can be limited. Your donation has shown them that there are people who believe in their potential, even if you've never met them. That kind of encouragement is powerful. It builds confidence and motivates them to strive for their best.\r\n\r\nWe've already begun using the donated items, and I've seen firsthand how they're changing the classroom dynamic. Students are collaborating more, exploring new ideas, and showing renewed enthusiasm for their work. It's incredible what a difference your support has made—not just academically, but emotionally and socially as well.\r\n\r\nI also want to thank you on behalf of the families of my students. Many parents have expressed their appreciation for the added support in the classroom. Knowing that their children are learning in a well-resourced, nurturing environment gives them peace of mind and a sense of hope for their child's future.\r\n\r\nPlease know that your generosity has not gone unnoticed. We will continue to honor your gift by making the most of every item and opportunity you've helped provide. In the coming weeks and months, I'll be sure to share updates and photos of the students benefiting from your donation. I want you to see the impact of your kindness in action.\r\n\r\nThank you once again for believing in our classroom, our mission, and most importantly, our students. Your support inspires us to work harder, dream bigger, and appreciate the good in the world. They have helped me run counseling groups to increase friendship and social skills as well as emotional-regulation and good manners. Your donations have also allowed me to give students the sensory tools to help with regulating their emotions. I teach kids in individual counseling and group counseling settings how to recognize their emotions and use coping skills to regulate. The curriculum and books you donated help me teach these lessons and the sensory tools you donated added to our tool belt of coping skills. The kids were so excited to receive the lessons and the sensory toys. The also are able to purchase more incentives in our student store where students can use the leader tickets they've earned through good behavior to buy more incentives. This helps motivate our students to earn more leader tickets through good behavior to continue shopping at our student store. Helping our students with social skills and emotional regulation has made their hearts happy and it's allowed them to improve academically and behaviorally. One of our groups grew in reading from 11% scoring basic or above to 56% scoring basic to above. The other group grew in reading from 33% scoring basic or above to 50% scoring basic to above.
